Breakfast for those in a hurry
When we’re pressed for time,
every second counts! If you’re out the door before you can have a decent
breakfast, grab a banana, or any fruit for the commute. Any other ingredients
you can take with you, so you can have the rest when you get to work: some oat
porridge, avocado toast, or yoghurt and muesli perhaps?
No time in the morning?
It ‘s all
about preparation!
If you find yourself often in
a rush in the morning, do yourself a favour and prepare breakfast the evening
before. Overnight oats are the perfect solution. The basic recipe is always the
same: Mix 50 g of oats, 100 ml of
low-fat milk and 50-100 g of natural yoghurt and put everything into a sealable
jar. Pop it in the fridge overnight and enjoy the next morning.
Quick and easy!
Porridge that’s just right
Oats
– a versatile breakfast option
Oats can be enjoyed in so many
different ways: by sprinkling some cinnamon or cocoa over top, or adding a
small handful of nuts or fruit. Instead of using other sweeteners, use half a
mashed banana.
Fruit is a great way to sweeten porridge.
The right balance
Important
to know
Oats, wholewheat bread and
other wholegrain products contain a lot of iron that the body actually has
difficulty absorbing. Improve the body ‘s capacity to absorb iron by eating
foods with a high vitamin C content.
Peppers, kiwis, berries and citrus fruits are particularly high in vitamin
C.
